What a visit costs, and why the repair price comes later.

The service call is $85

A qualified technician comes to the house, diagnoses the fault, and explains what is going on in plain language. If you go ahead with the repair, that $85 is credited toward the work. If you decide not to repair, the $85 remains as the fee for the visit and the diagnosis.

The repair price comes after the diagnosis

You get the cost before anyone picks up a tool, and you can say no. A blocked filter and a failed drain pump produce the same symptom and are not the same job. Any company that quotes you a repair over the phone is either naming a low number to win the call or a high number to cover the worst case.

No coupons, no free visits

A free visit is never free. It is priced into the repair, and you pay it either way. We would rather charge $85 openly than pretend the drive costs nothing.

Same-day emergency

Possible when the calendar still has a window, at a different price, agreed with you before we come. It is not a promise on the front page.

Parts

Parts are quoted with the repair. If you supply your own part we will usually fit it, but there is no warranty on that job — not on the part and not on the labour around it.
