Do I have to use a factory-authorized technician for Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Miele?
Only while the appliance is still under the manufacturer's own warranty. Once that warranty has expired, an independent technician can repair the same machine with the same parts, usually sooner and often for less.
If your appliance is still inside the brand's warranty, use the brand's program. We will tell you that on the phone rather than take a visit fee for work that should be free to you.
After the warranty, authorization mostly describes a commercial relationship with the manufacturer, not a level of skill. Being independent means no contract decides which part we sell you, and no dispatch queue decides that your Sub-Zero waits eleven days.
We are not factory-authorized and we do not claim to be. We do say this: these kitchens are the work we do every week.

If this is your appliance right now, the phone is faster than reading. The service call is $85 and it is credited toward the repair.
